Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Core Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative services to students at multiple school locations in Kane and Will Counties Conduct individualized assessments and develop educational plans in accordance with IEP goals Adapt curriculum and classroom materials; recommend and teach use of assistive technology Work closely with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families to support student success Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Travel between sites with mileage compensated
