Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification required. Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting. Proficiency using Embrace and the CPS System portal is strongly preferred. Previous work with a range of student needs and ages, especially within a SPED environment. Excellent communication, organizational, and case management skills. Ability to adapt to an itinerant schedule, providing support across various locations. Strong understanding of caseload management and IEP processes.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide tailored instruction and support for students with diverse abilities. Serve as a Case Manager, overseeing IEP development, implementation, and compliance. Collaborate with school staff, families, and external providers to optimize student outcomes. Utilize the Embrace portal for efficient and accurate case documentation. Participate in team meetings, professional development, and indirect hours as scheduled. Maintain detailed records to ensure all administrative requirements are met.
