This rewarding opportunity near Peoria, IL, offers multiple classroom settings and the chance to shape learning experiences for exceptional learners. You'll choose from three distinctive roles: 8th Grade Self-Contained Classroom (7:45 am-2:45 pm) 6th Grade Inclusion Position (supporting students in general education and teaching 2-3 dedicated special education classes; 7:45 am-2:45 pm) 3rd-5th Grade Self-Contained Classroom A pay rate ranging from $30-$40 per hour is offered, reflecting your expertise and dedication.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Special Education or related field Current state teaching license with appropriate Special Education endorsement Previous classroom experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical experience encouraged to apply Solid understanding of IEP development, modifications, and implementation Comfortable adapting instruction to diverse learning needs and collaborating with staff and families
