Located near Saint Francisville, IL, this contract position offers the opportunity to teach a diverse group of learners in both self-contained and inclusion settings. The workweek is Monday through Friday, 7:40 AM to 3:20 PM, including a paid lunch break and a dedicated paid planning period each day, totaling approximately 39 hours weekly. The assignment runs from August 12, 2026, through May 21, 2027. Your expertise will be central as you instruct core subjects such as math, reading, science, and social studies. Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement (PK-22). Robust experience with behavior management, especially with students who have behavioral disorders. Skilled in both self-contained and inclusive classroom settings. Proficient and independent in IEP development, including setting goals and completing all IEP documentation solo—not just as part of a team. Core Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to each student's IEP. Develop, document, and monitor student progress on IEP goals. Implement behavior management strategies consistently and effectively. Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families.
