Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a energetic and passionate Lead Teachers to inspire young learners during their most formative years. In this vital role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment tailored to a specific age group. Your enthusiasm and expertise will foster curiosity, support developmentally appropriate learning, and promote social-emotional growth. As a lead teacher, you will collaborate with families and team members to ensure each child's needs are met with care, patience, and professionalism. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on early childhood development while working in a vibrant, supportive setting. Responsibilities Design and implement dynamic daily lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards and cater to the developmental stages Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote language development, motor skills, emotional regulation, and cognitive growth Monitor individual progress and communicate regularly with families about their child's milestones and needs Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions with patience and consistency Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by maintaining cleanliness, conducting safety checks, and practicing proper caregiving procedures such as first aid when necessary Lead by example in classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and respectful interactions among children Qualifications Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and behavior management strategies Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus Familiarity with classroom management tools, caregiving routines such as infant/toddler care, and early childhood curriculum planning Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and team members in a lively yet professional manner Experience in working with children who have diverse needs or require additional support is highly desirable Passion for nurturing young minds through engaging activities like singing, storytelling, arts & crafts, outdoor play, and educational games Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to shaping the future by providing exceptional care and early learning experiences. Pay:
$17.25 - $18.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
