Job Description
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs Provide direct, one-on-one, and small group instruction to students in alignment with their IEP goals Assess students' academic progress and deficits, adapt teaching strategies, and implement intervention to meet their unique learning styles Assess benchmark students for reading levels and other literacy skills Collaborate with grade level teachers and share strategies/interventions Maintain accurate records of student progress and IEP documentation Attend and participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and professional development opportunities Implement behavior management strategies in alignment with individual student needs Provide reading instruction and intervention for struggling students Collaborate with Response to Intervention committee for struggling readers Plan and implement remediation programming for IREAD-3 and ILEARN math Any other duties deemed necessary by administration
