Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives by bringing your expertise in Special Education to a supportive school environment near Lenexa, KS. This contract opportunity runs from August 2026 through May 21, 2027, offering a chance to work collaboratively with dedicated professionals across a wide range of grade levels and programs. Key Qualifications:
Valid and active Kansas teaching license in Special Education, appropriate to desired grade level(s) Ability to provide licensure documentation before submittal Experience teaching students with a variety of learning needs across elementary, middle, and high school settings Flexibility to engage in diverse roles, including positions in alternative or behavioral support classrooms (Bridges program) Previous experience in Special Education classrooms strongly preferred
