Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make an immediate impact in the lives of elementary students as a Special Education Teacher in a full-time contract position within a supportive and collaborative school community. This rewarding opportunity centers on working with a small caseload of eight students in the LIFT Program, allowing for focused attention and a meaningful difference in student development.
Position Highlights:
Serve as a dedicated Special Education Teacher in an elementary classroom setting. Manage a manageable caseload of 8 students, providing targeted and individualized instruction. Engage with the LIFT Program, fostering both academic and social-emotional growth. Embrace a full-time schedule in a contract role, collaborating with a passionate team of educators. Desired Qualifications:
Active Kansas Low Incidence Special Education License required. Prior experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education capacity preferred. Creative problem-solving skills and a commitment to promoting inclusion and student success.
