Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role shaping the growth and development of young learners as a Special Education Teacher in an elementary school setting. As part of a supportive school environment, you'll take on a full-time position working in a specialized LIFT Program classroom with a manageable caseload of 8 students. Your expertise will help foster an inclusive atmosphere designed for meaningful learning outcomes and personal achievement.
Desired Qualifications:
Current Low Incidence Special Education License issued by the state of Kansas Experience or enthusiasm for working in elementary education Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to develop and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) Commitment to ongoing professional growth and collaboration Passion for encouraging student independence, inclusion, and confidence
Expected Responsibilities:
