Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Three full-time contract opportunities are available for professionals who are eager to foster growth, independence, and a love for learning. Work closely with a caseload of eight students, providing personalized instruction and support in a setting designed to celebrate unique learning needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current Kansas (KS) Low Incidence Special Education License is required Demonstrated experience working with elementary-aged students with varying abilities Strong understanding of special education law, IEP development, and the LIFT Program's core principles Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt instruction to individual learner needs Passion for supporting student development in both academic and life skills
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student Deliver differentiated instruction and facilitate skill-building activities in a small-group classroom environment Collaborate with general education staff, support personnel, and families to ensure continuity of care and learning Maintain accurate student records and progress reports for both academic and behavioral goals Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere Support students in developing self-advocacy and independence
