In this dynamic role, you will lead engaging activities for school-aged children, promote their social and emotional development, and ensure a safe, nurturing space for all. Your energy and leadership will inspire young learners to explore, grow, and succeed in a supportive setting that values creativity, kindness, and growth. Duties Lead and supervise classroom activities for school-age children, ensuring an engaging and inclusive environment Implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that support childhood development, early childhood education principles, and social skills Manage behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques Coordinate with parents, staff, and other caregivers to communicate children's progress and address individual needs Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times by maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free classroom environment Assist with planning special events, camp activities, or tutoring sessions that enhance learning experiences Provide first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or behavioral concerns Qualifications Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, camp, or tutoring settings Strong classroom management skills coupled with knowledge of childhood development and behavior management strategies Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly preferred; ongoing training in special education or Christian counseling is a plus Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds, including those requiring additional support or special education services Excellent communication skills to collaborate with families and team members effectively Enthusiastic about fostering a safe, nurturing environment that promotes growth through play, sports coaching, theater activities, or babysitting experience Knowledge of early childhood education best practices and child safety regulations Embark on a rewarding journey where your leadership makes a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners.
