As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in guiding classroom activities, developing curriculum, and fostering positive relationships with children, families, and staff. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence early childhood development while working weekends only, making a meaningful impact during crucial early years. Responsibilities Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Lead classroom activities that promote social-emotional growth, behavior management, and child welfare. Foster a safe, inclusive environment that supports toddlers' and preschoolers' curiosity and learning needs. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress and address individual needs related to special education or early intervention. Manage classroom routines, transitions, and behavior management strategies to ensure a positive learning atmosphere. Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly. Supervise assistant teachers or aides to ensure high-quality childcare and educational standards are maintained. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools. Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Knowledge of childhood development principles, special education practices, and early intervention strategies. Familiarity with Montessori methods, literacy education, math instruction, and teaching physical education is preferred. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively. Prior classroom experience with toddlers or preschoolers is highly desirable.
