Key Qualifications:
Valid credentials or certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH) Experience working with deaf and hard of hearing students in school settings Strong communication and collaboration abilities Ability to create inclusive, engaging instructional plans tailored to diverse learning needs Commitment to fostering confidence, self-advocacy, and academic growth in students
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative educational services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing Develop and adapt lesson plans, materials, and assessments in alignment with individual education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other educators, speech-language pathologists, and family members Advocate for accessibility, inclusion, and appropriate accommodations across classrooms Monitor progress, document student growth, and communicate regularly with parents and staff Support students with self-advocacy and communication skills development Embrace a rewarding position where you can support students in reaching their full potential within a forward-thinking school community.
