Fill-In Caregiver for Special Needs Individual

No guaranteed hours. We would just like someone that is able to fill in occasionally for other caregivers.

Job description:

Looking for a kind and loving individual to provide personal assistance services for a young special needs adult man in Irvine, KY! Generally, Personal Assistance will enable a person to accomplish tasks that the person normally would do for themself, if they did not have a disability. This individual has epilepsy and cerebral palsy, including physical limitations; he requires a total lift and is transferred using a Hoyer. Personal assistance tasks include, but are not limited to: hands-on personal assistance (assistance with clothing changes, bathing, feeding, morning and evening routines, etc); reminding, observing, guiding or training during various activities; assistance in managing medical care and medication administration; and transportation to access community services, activities and appointments. He loves UK basketball, music, watching his favorite tv shows, eating his favorite foods, and spending time with loved ones! Employee will be required to complete a yearly TB screening, pass a background check, and submit other various documents to remain eligible as per Medicaid guidelines.
