Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Teacher to guide and nurture our preschool-aged children, specifically those between four and five years old. In this vital role, you will create a warm, engaging, and educational environment that promotes growth, curiosity, and confidence. Your leadership will inspire young learners to explore their interests, develop essential skills, and build a strong foundation for future learning. Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and early childhood development principles. Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring they are engaging, educational, and aligned with developmental milestones for 4-5-year-olds. Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management strategies that promote respect, cooperation, and social-emotional learning. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support their child's welfare and development. Plan and execute lesson plans that integrate Montessori methods or other early childhood education frameworks to foster independence and curiosity. Support children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services by adapting activities and providing tailored support. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration while adhering to childcare standards and regulations. Skills Extensive experience in preschool or daycare settings with strong classroom management skills. Knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices in early intervention, literacy education, and behavior management. Proficiency in curriculum development with the ability to incorporate standardized testing insights when appropriate. Familiarity with Montessori methods or other specialized teaching approaches for early childhood education. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and families. Ability to plan engaging lessons that include physical education, tutoring sessions, and hands-on activities for young learners. Experience working with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or additional support services.
