Plan and execute lesson plans that integrate Montessori methods or other early childhood education frameworks to foster independence and curiosity. Support children with special education needs or those requiring early intervention services by adapting activities and providing tailored support. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration while adhering to childcare standards and regulations. Skills Extensive experience in preschool or daycare settings with strong classroom management skills. Knowledge of childhood development theories and best practices in early intervention, literacy education, and behavior management. Proficiency in curriculum development with the ability to incorporate standardized testing insights when appropriate. Familiarity with Montessori methods or other specialized teaching approaches for early childhood education. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and families. Ability to plan engaging lessons that include physical education, tutoring sessions, and hands-on activities for young learners. Experience working with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or additional support services.
