In this role, you will serve as a versatile classroom support, stepping into various teaching environments to ensure that every child receives high-quality, engaging, and developmentally appropriate instruction. Your energy and flexibility will help create a nurturing learning atmosphere where children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to gain diverse classroom experience while making a positive impact on young learners' lives. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum development plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Support classroom management by fostering positive behavior management strategies and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment for children of different ages and needs. Engage with children during activities such as storytime, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and structured lessons to promote childhood development and early intervention skills. Help with classroom organization, lesson planning, and preparation of educational materials tailored to the age group present. Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress through assessments when necessary. Provide childcare support during daily routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions to ensure child welfare is prioritized at all times. Communicate effectively with parents and team members about children's progress, behavior management strategies, and classroom activities to foster a collaborative learning environment. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools is highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, special education practices, early intervention techniques, and literacy education is essential. Familiarity with classroom management techniques including behavior management strategies and lesson planning is required. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage with children's families. Ablility to pass a background check Ability to adapt quickly across different classrooms while maintaining high standards of childcare and education. Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous; ongoing professional development in areas like toddler care or standardized testing is encouraged.
