Bulletin 2614 Special Education Teacher at AIMS Program at Ross Elementary School Braintree Public Schools - 3.7 Braintree, MA Job Details Full-time 21 hours ago Qualifications Working with individuals with developmental disabilities Working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders Working with students Autism spectrum disorders support Special Education Certification Full Job Description Ross Elementary School is seeking a dedicated, creative, and collaborative Special Education Teacher to join our AIMS program. This role supports students with complex learning profiles, primarily those on the autism spectrum. We are looking for an educator who pairs a deep understanding of evidence-based practices with a kind, student-centered approach.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering classroom instruction grounded in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Modifying and implementing specialized curricula to meet diverse learner needs managing the IEP process, including drafting goals, writing progress reports, and conducting standardized assessments for re-eligibility Leading a multidisciplinary team of paraeducators and coordinating closely with related service providers. Candidates must be certified by the MA DESE in either Moderate or Severe Special Education, have proven experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and preferably demonstrate proficiency with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
