Yes (Interviews held the last week of April) Position Overview We are seeking ESY Special Education Teachers to support the ABLES Program during the extended school year. This role is ideal for educators with experience or interest in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and working with students who have significant developmental needs. Program Description The ABLES Program serves students with: Significant global developmental delays Autism Spectrum Disorder Intellectual impairments Students in this program typically require support in academics, communication, activities of daily living, and social skills. The program is grounded in ABA principles and utilizes evidence-based instructional strategies, including: Discrete Trial Training (DTT) Incidental teaching Social skills curriculum Positive Behavior Support Plans Instruction focuses on improving reciprocal socialization, language and communication skills, addressing sensory needs, reducing stereotypic and ritualistic behaviors, and promoting skill acquisition and generalization. Summer Program Goals During the summer ESY session, the primary goal is to prevent regression by continuing students' individualized programs. Teachers will have the opportunity to collaborate with classroom teachers during the final week of the school year to review IEPs and ensure continuity of instruction.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred State Teacher Certification;
