Educator Evaluation Lead Teacher for 2026-2027 (3 in total) The above captioned position is brought to the attention of all teaching personnel. There are three vacancies at the following schools: Brockton Therapeutic Day School (1), BHS Brockton High School (2) vacancies, preference give to applicants from the Green, Red, or Yellow house.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1.At least three or more years of successful teaching experience 2.Currently an educator at the school for which the candidate is applying. 3.Familiarity with the Brockton Public Schools Educator Evaluation System and related MA DESE Educator Evaluation regulations. 4.Experience in teacher training and professional development. 5.Strong technology skills. 6.Availability before or after school to provide support to educators at the assigned building.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Including but not limited to: 1.Attend all Educator Evaluation Lead Teacher meetings to be held with the Director of Professional Growth and School Improvement on the first Tuesday of each month at 2:50pm and 3:40pm (educators may choose the most convenient time). 2.Meet with the Director of Professional Growth and School Improvement, at a mutually agreed upon time, if additional support is needed to ensure a clear understanding of the online platform. 3.Work with building and district administrators to assist with training related to educator evaluation (e.g. meeting deadlines, using the district adopted online platform) and to distribute critical educator evaluation communications. 4.Assist and communicate with educators to support them through the evaluation process, including offering to meet before or after school as needed. 5.Meet at least one time after school with all mentor/mentee pairings in the building, as a group, to provide specialized support to those new to the district. Additional meetings as needed to support the mentees during the year.
