Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time role supports high school programs designed for students with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges near Burlington, MA. The position is perfect for a dedicated Special Education Teacher holding a DESE license in either moderate or severe special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to students with diverse social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff to foster an inclusive learning environment. Use evidence-based strategies to support student growth academically, socially, and emotionally. Monitor and document student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly. Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education.
Qualifications:
Valid DESE license in moderate or severe special needs. Experience working with high school students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs. Commitment to fostering student success and well-being.
