Qualifications:
Active Massachusetts Visually Impaired License Previous experience working with visually impaired students preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to develop and adapt curriculum materials for students with visual impairments Commitment to fostering an inclusive and accessible learning environmentKey Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction to students who are visually impaired, supporting their academic, social, and functional development Adapt teaching materials and classroom strategies based on individual student assessments Consult with teachers, staff, and families to share strategies and support students across multiple settings Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed Promote independence, self-advocacy, and confidence in students through tailored instruction Participate in IEP meetings, complete necessary documentation, and maintain detailed progress recordsPerks and Benefits:
