Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This special education teaching opportunity focuses on supporting upper elementary students in a school setting located in Jefferson, MA. The role is a part-time contract position, offering a .5 full-time equivalent workload with specific days per week to be determined. The position runs from ASAP through June 2026, providing stability in an engaging educational environment. Key responsibilities include delivering specialized instruction tailored to students with diverse learning needs, utilizing evidence-based practices and multi-sensory reading techniques. Collaboration with classroom teachers and specialists to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is essential to support student growth and success.
Qualifications:
Valid Massachusetts Special Education License through DESE Training and experience in Multi-Sensory Reading Instruction Experience working with upper elementary age students in special education Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with staff, students, and families
