Job Description
Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract A special education teaching opportunity is available for a motivated professional to support elementary and middle school students on a part-time basis. This role offers direct engagement with diverse learners and the chance to contribute to their educational growth in a supportive environment.
Key Details:
Part-time position: 2 days per weekHours:
3 hours per day, totaling 9 hours weeklyDuration:
ASAP through mid-June Student focus: Elementary and middle school special educationQualifications and Experience:
Active Massachusetts Special Education License required Prior experience working with elementary and middle school students preferred Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with school staff and families Commitment to fostering inclusion and individualized learning plansPrimary Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored instruction to meet the unique needs of special education students Collaborate with classroom teachers to support student success Monitor and document student progress and adapt strategies accordingly Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)Benefits and Perks:
