YOUR IMPACT
This K-2 Special Education Teacher leads a program at a public elementary school supporting students with behavioral challenges who are included in general education classrooms. The teacher collaborates with paraeducators to provide in-class support and also works with students in small pull-out sessions to help them regulate and successfully return to the classroom.
WHAT YOU NEED
Valid Massachusetts Teaching License with Special Education (Moderate Disabilities) certification Eligible to teach in MA through DESE Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred Experience designing & delivering individualized instruction for students with disabilities Knowledge of MA Special Education laws and IEP development Experience supervising classrooms with support staff (paras) Familiarity with MCASAlt. assessments Comfort with students in behavioral/socialemotional programs and life skills/developmental delay programs Ready to make a difference? .
