September 1, 2026 Responsibilities include:

Conduct functional vision and learning media evaluations
Provide direct and/or consultative service to students with visual impairments as outlined in IEP's or 504 plans
Deliver specialized instruction in areas such as braille, assistive technology, visual efficiency, and compensatory skills
Adapt and prepare instructional materials in accessible formats (braille, large print, tactile graphics, digital text)
Train and support caregivers, staff, and other stakeholders in strategies
Devise, implement, monitor, and report on progress for IEP goals and objectives
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers and related service providers
