Qualifications:
Active Visually Impaired (VI) Teacher License Valid Massachusetts DOE certification Successfully passed all required MTEL examinations Experience working with students who are visually impaired is strongly preferred Strong communication skills and a commitment to inclusive education
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional educational and instructional support to students with visual impairments Collaborate with general and special education staff to ensure diverse learner needs are met Develop and adapt instructional materials utilizing best practices for accessibility Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with state standards Engage with parents, therapists, and educational teams to foster student growth and independence
