Per Teachers' Contract
To Start:
August 24, 2026 (plus 2 mentoring days prior to start date)
Qualifications:
  • Mass. Department of Elementary & Secondary Education Teacher License
  • Severe/ Intensive or Mild/Moderate Special Needs certification
  • Experience working with ASD children
  • Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) trained
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention trained
Duties/Responsibility:
  • Oversee and develop programs for each student on caseload
  • Train and supervise assistants assigned to students on caseload
  • Hold monthly parent meetings, maintain consistent parent communication, and/or develop/ supervise parent training
  • Liaison for students
  • Evaluate students and write assessment reports
  • Write IEP's and monthly progress reports
  • Modify and structure curriculum for student success
  • Small group and 1:1 instruction including Discrete Trial Training
  • Develop and implement behavior plans for each student
  • Responsible for data collection and data analysis
  • Facilitate inclusion in general education classroom
  • Keep teachers and administrators informed regarding student needs
  • Work collaboratively with Board Certified Behavior Analyst
