Amergis Educational Staffing Amergis Educational Staffing is partnering with a school district in Rockland, MA to hire Special Education Teachers for their Extended School Year (ESY) Summer Program . This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive, team-oriented environment while making a meaningful impact with students.

5 weeks Schedule (Monday•Thursday):
Elementary:
7:30 AM•11:30
AM Upper School:
8:30 AM•12:30
PM Pay:
Up to $55/hour (based on license and experience) Program Openings We are hiring for multiple specialized classrooms: ASD K-1 Program Focus on structured routines, communication development, social skills, and foundational academics ASD K-2 Program (Pending) Supports students with complex communication needs, including AAC devices and sensory regulation Lifeskills (Grades 1-4) Emphasis on daily living skills (ADLs), functional academics, and motor development Social Emotional Program (Grades 2-7) Focus on emotional regulation, coping strategies, and behavioral support Pathways Program (Grades 9-12) Transition-based program centered on vocational skills, independent living, and community integration Responsibilities Implement IEP goals and follow behavior support plans Provide individualized and small group instruction Support students with diverse learning, behavioral, and communication needs Collaborate with paraprofessionals and related service providers Maintain a structured and supportive classroom environment Qualifications Valid MA Teaching License•Required Strong experience in special education, ABA, behavioral support, or life skills Familiarity with AAC devices, visual schedules, and behavior interventions Ability to support students with communication, sensory, and behavioral needs Strong teamwork and communication skills If you're passionate about supporting others and want to be part of a dedicated team, we'd love to hear from you!
