Position Overview:
Do you have the energy, commitment, and passion to be part of a collaborative team serving elementary students with social-emotional disabilities? The Grow School, a DESE-approved therapeutic day school and part of the Southern Worcester County Educational Collaborative, is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. We provide high-quality instruction and therapeutic interventions designed to support the growth and development of each student. The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction to elementary students with social-emotional disabilities Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with clinical staff, related service providers, and families Create a structured, supportive, and engaging classroom environment Monitor and assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
Qualifications:
Massachusetts Teacher Certification in Special Education required Experience working with students with social-emotional or behavioral needs preferred Strong collaboration, communication, and classroom management skills
Requirements:
Successful completion of CORI and fingerprinting background checks Completion of physical management training (provided by the Collaborative)
