Aug 31, 2026 Job Description Special Education Teacher, Language-Based LD Stoneham Public Schools Stoneham Public Schools is seeking an experienced special education teacher with training and expertise in specialized, multisensory, systematic reading instruction (i.e. Wilson, Orton-Gillingham reading programs) and extensive knowledge of research-based best practices, methods and instructional materials for writing and math. In addition to providing intensive, specialized instruction to address goals and objectives for students, this special educator will collaborate and consult with classroom teachers, participate in on-going data team meetings and closely monitor the progress of all students on his/her caseload. This special educator's role will also include conducting Academic Evaluations for initial evaluations, and requires knowledge of formal diagnostic assessments and the ability to interpret and analyze results in order to provide oral and written reports.
Required:
