Special Education - Inclusion Grade 7/8 Stoneham Public Schools - 4.0 Stoneham, MA Job Details Full-time $113,930 a year 13 hours ago Qualifications Diagnostic result interpretation Student report writing Special education diagnostic testing Teaching assessments Data collection for student progress in special education Initial student evaluation for IEP development Student needs assessment Full Job Description Special Education Teacher - Central Middle School (3 positions available) Stoneham Public Schools is seeking an experienced special educator with training and expertise in specialized instructional methods, assessment and extensive knowledge of research-based best practices to teach students with IEPs who receive specialized instruction within the Resource Room. In addition to providing intensive, specialized instruction to address IEP goals and objectives, this Resource Room teacher will collaborate and consult with classroom teachers; participate in on-going data team meetings; and closely monitor the progress of all students on his/her caseload. This special educator's role will also include conducting Academic Evaluations for initial evaluations, and it requires knowledge of formal diagnostic assessments and the ability to interpret and analyze results in order to provide oral and written evaluation and progress reports.
