Sep 8, 2026 Job Description Our Lady's Academy, located at 920 Trapelo Road in Waltham, is seeking a Moderate Special Needs teacher to work with individual or small groups of students that have been identified as needing academic support. This individual should have a bachelor's degree and be certified in Moderate Special Needs or is working towards obtaining certification. This position can be either full time (five days) or part time (3 days) each week. Our Lady's Academy is dedicated to creating a positive environment for its faculty and students. This individual should have the ability to work with a collaborative team, have knowledge of curriculum requirements, the ability to differentiate instruction as needed and the desire to establish partnerships with parents to reinforce student progress. Responsibilities Implement individualized educational plans tailored to each child's needs Manage classroom behavior and create a supportive learning environment Collaborate with parents, specialists, and other educators to ensure comprehensive support for students Deliver engaging lessons Utilize adaptive technologies and teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as necessary Interested candidates should send a resume, letters of recommendation and any other supporting documentation to enhance your candidacy via School Spring.
