  • Work with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders in a substantially separate classroom
  • Implement and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and write, update, and monitor IEPs
  • Collect and analyze student data, maintain schedules, and facilitate annual IEP review meetings
  • Collaborate with district BCBA, school psychologist, classroom teachers, administration, and related service providers
  • Supervise and direct educational assistants within the classroom
  • Provide training to educational assistants on behavior management and data collection techniques
  • Act as a liaison between families and the school to support student success
  • Conduct discrete trials and educational evaluations (e.g., WIAT, ABELS, Core Skills assessments
  • Implement and modify curriculum to meet individual student needs
  • Use the ACE program for data collection and goal-setting (preferred)
  • Apply ABA methodology in the classroom environment
  • Maintain or obtain Active Safety Care Training & Certification (training provided if needed)
  • Participate in a six- week summer program contingent upon student IEPs
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • This position requires a six (6) week summer program component
