Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract position begins in August 2026 and offers the chance to work onsite within a caring, collaborative environment dedicated to student growth and educator success. You'll have the opportunity to support middle schoolers in a resource room setting, working with a manageable caseload of 10-15 students. This fulfilling role combines individualized academic guidance with a strong sense of teamwork and professional development.
Qualifications:
Valid Maryland certification as a secondary Special Education Teacher Experience working with middle school students or in a resource room setting preferred Strong communication skills with students, families, and colleagues Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs Ability to adapt instruction and provide creative, engaging strategies
Responsibilities:
