Aug 31, 2026 Job Description This is a 35 hour/week, benefits eligible, school year only position.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING
1.Carry out District and school policies, rules, schedules, regulations, and goals consistent with school philosophy 2.Support students' learning plans by fulfilling the instructional actions of the plans 3.Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of material or skills needed to meet grade-level benchmarks 4.Create plans under the guidance of Standards-based Teacher, the classroom teacher and administration to implement targeted interventions for students in a small group setting and with individual students 5.Guide work set up and assigned by administration and the Standards-based Teacher 6.Read to students, listen to students read, and participate in other forms of oral communication with students 7.Conduct small / individual social skills groups 8.Support students with transitions, routines, and procedures related to the beginning of the year, new activities, and the end of the year. 9.Assist in carrying out Response to Intervention Team recommendations 10.Alert and advise the regular / special education teachers to any problem or special information about an individual student 11.Consult with classroom teacher about students' performance and progress 12.Collect, maintain, and monitor student data and instruction pertaining to students' individual learning plans (IEP's) 13.Communicate with administration and other school personnel on student progress 14.Identify and utilize community volunteer resources to support learning plans 15.Assist with the supervision of children during homeroom, break, recess and lunch 16.Assist with the supervision of students during emergency drills, assemblies, play periods, and field trips 17.Maintain the same high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students as is expected of fully-licensed teachers 18.Participate in in-service training programs, as assigned 19.Perform such other duties that may be reasonably requested by the building administrators from time-to-time
