This role focuses on serving students in specialized educational settings, including elementary and high school programs designed for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related needs.

Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of students across four distinct classrooms: two elementary ASD Communication Impaired (CI) rooms, one high school ASD room, and one resource room. Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's learning goals and needs. Collaborate closely with school staff, families, and related service providers to support student success. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as necessary. Maintain all required documentation and compliance with state education guidelines.

Qualifications:

Active Michigan Special Education license in either Communication Impaired (CI) or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Experience working with students with ASD and other special education needs. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to create engaging, inclusive learning environments. Commitment to ongoing professional development in special education.
