Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a difference by supporting students with special needs in an educational setting near Flint, MI. Preferred Qualifications:
Valid certification in Special Education. Previous experience teaching students with varying abilities and learning needs. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to adapt curriculum and instruction for diverse learners. Organizational skills for managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). A passion for empowering students and fostering academic success.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to meet individual student needs. Work with multidisciplinary teams to support student growth and meet IEP goals. Track and report on student progress, maintaining clear and timely documentation. Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere. Communicate professionally and proactively with parents, administrators, and support staff. Participate in professional development and staff meetings as required. This contract role spans the new school year and includes multiple Special Education teaching positions (SPED x 3), providing ample opportunity for passionate educators to collaborate and grow.
