August 2026Qualifications:
Valid Michigan teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement required. CPI/CPR certification preferred. Knowledge of reading, math, and writing interventions. Familiar with strategies, including check-in and check-out, progress monitoring, and data collection. Knowledge of positive interventions, supports, and good problem-solving skills. Good collaboration/communication skills. Experience working with various disabilities.Job Responsibilities:
Provide small group intervention sessions. Develop/implement behavioral intervention plans and reinforcement systems. Consult with teachers, parents and administrators. Coordinate IEP services with team members, including general education teachers, school social worker, speech language pathologist, occupational therapist and physical therapist. Perform other duties as assigned.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound. Repetitive motions : Making substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is subject to environmental conditions.
