Early Childhood Special Education Teacher Location:

7:50am-3:35pm
Qualifications:
A Michigan teaching certificate with an Early Childhood (ZS) endorsement or Early Childhood (ZA) endorsement AND a Special Education endorsement in one or more areas Recent teaching experience at or near level and subject being applied for is desirable.
Responsibilities:
Must follow district and state curricula and assessment requirements. Knowledge of current curriculum trends in early childhood education and ability to writ and develop new curricular directions in subject area. Ability to work effectively with grade level/department/interdisciplinary teams, etc. Knowledge of and commitment to regularly use technology as an instructional tool to enhance teaching and learning. Demonstrate ability to develop an interdisciplinary approach to delivering instructional outcomes. Input/active participation in building and district committee structure to develop new curricular guidelines for all areas. Complete and submit all required paperwork, i.e., IEP's, transition plans, Medicaid billings, positive behavior support plans, etc. Follow and implement all Board of Education policies, administrative guidelines and building regulations.
