Job Description

Kids Club Summer Edition ASD/Resource Teacher (Temporary - Summer) Dream Centers of Michigan is seeking a compassionate and skilled ASD/Resource Teacher to support our 5-week Kids Club Summer Edition program. This program serves students in grades 1-5 through academic support, creative expression, and social development. The ASD/Resource Teacher serves as a support coordinator across classrooms, ensuring all students—especially those with diverse learning, behavioral, or sensory needs—are equipped to fully participate in the program. This role provides targeted student support, implements accommodations, and equips staff with practical strategies to create a structured and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Provide small-group and individualized academic and behavioral support Implement accommodations and strategies to support diverse learning needs Assist students with sensory regulation and social skill development Collaborate with staff to support classroom success and consistency Coach and support teachers with effective strategies and interventions Float between classrooms to respond to student needs Participate in all program activities, including Friday field trips Qualifications Experience working with students with ASD or diverse learning/behavioral needs required Background in education, special education, ABA, or related field preferred Relevant certifications (RBT, ABA training, or similar) a plus Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Passion for youth development and creating inclusive student experiences Details Summer program - July 6 through August 7) Temporary, full-time, salaried, non-exempt Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM Includes required pre-program training (mid-late June) Please see the job description for additional information.
