Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (required) State of Michigan Special Education teaching certification or ability to obtain prior to start date Prior classroom experience with early elementary/primary age students (K-2 preferred) Strong communication and collaboration skills Familiarity with IEP development and individualized instruction
Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction, intervention, and support to students with diverse learning needs (K-2), managing a caseload up to 8 students Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with general education teachers, paraeducators, and related service staff Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and needs Maintain accurate documentation of student data and progress
