Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure residents' health stability Administer medications following prescribed protocols while maintaining accurate documentation in EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems Provide companionship and social engagement to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation Support residents with memory care needs related to Alzheimer's disease and dementia through specialized techniques and behavior management strategies Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and assist with feeding when required Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning resident areas and common spaces Experience Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly desirable Hands-on experience assisting with ADLs and providing personal care in long-term or retirement home environments Familiarity with EMR systems for accurate documentation of resident care activities Valid first aid certification and CPR training are preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is appreciated Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges is a plus Join our team where your caregiving expertise makes a real difference!
