Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of high school students by supporting their educational growth and empowerment. This contract opportunity is tailored for an experienced Special Education Teacher who is dedicated to advocating for students' unique learning needs in grades 9-12. You'll take on an impactful role with a classroom of 17-20 students, working closely with fellow educators and staff to foster an inclusive, positive environment that promotes both academic achievement and social-emotional development.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification (applicable for grades 9-12) Proven experience working with high school-aged students in a special education setting Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and faculty Adaptability and resourcefulness in meeting diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
