You will assist with daily living activities, administer medications, and contribute to a clean, engaging, and supportive home environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are compassionate, attentive, and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centered care. What You'll Do Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and basic hygiene Support mobility, ambulation, transferring, repositioning, and overall comfort Encourage and assist residents with meals, hydration, and snacks Monitor and report changes in resident condition, behavior, or health status Administer medications and treatments as ordered, following all policies and procedures Accurately document care and medication administration in accordance with MAR requirements Verify medication orders and ensure proper labeling, dosage, and administration Assist with kitchen and dining tasks including meal preparation, serving, and cleanup Perform general housekeeping and laundry duties Engage residents in activities and encourage participation to enhance quality of life Communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and families Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment What We're Looking For A compassionate, respectful, and dependable individual Strong attention to detail, especially with medication administration and documentation Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members Commitment to maintaining resident dignity, privacy, and confidentiality (HIPAA compliant) Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training and education Ability to perform physical tasks including assisting residents and staying active throughout the shift Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic More Than a Job At Cherry Hill Haven, caregiving goes beyond completing tasks.
