Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Four Special Education Teacher positions are available in Ypsilanti, MI, to support students with diverse learning needs in both elementary and high school settings. These full-time contract roles start as soon as possible and continue through June 5, 2026.

Full-time, Contract Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction in classrooms serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Complex Instruction (CI) needs. Manage caseloads including 2 elementary ASD-CI rooms, 1 high school ASD room, and 1 resource room. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and family engagement. Maintain detailed records of student performance and communicate regularly with parents and staff.Qualifications:
Active Michigan Special Education license with certification in Cognitive Impairment (CI) or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Experience teaching students with ASD and complex instructional needs preferred. Ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively and provide differentiated instruction. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, families, and support staff. Why This Opportunity?
