Location:
Independence Elementary STEM Temporary Position Job Summary:
Under the direction of district administrators, the Classroom Teacher is responsible for developing lesson plans to present district curriculum in assigned instructional subjects; instructing students using lesson plans and instructional material; and evaluating and assessing student progress against instructional outcomes and objectives. Teachers also participate and collaborate with other instructional professionals, administrators, parents, counselors, and other district personnel concerning student needs, issues and district learning initiatives.
Qualifications:
Current teachers with experience working with elementary students able to address the whole learner (social, emotional and academic needs in core subject area).
Requires:
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education. A Certified teaching certificate from the State of MN is required.
Working Conditions:
June 15th - July 16th, no classes the week of June 29th. Monday through Thursday, 7:45am to 12:45am, student's day is 8:00am to 12:30pm. There will be a 4 hour planning session prior to the start of classes: date will be determined.
