Teacher - School Psychologist, Early Childhood Special Education Osseo Ind School District 279 Brooklyn Center, MN Job Details Full-time 4 hours ago Qualifications Master's degree Practicing as a school psychologist Full Job Description This position is for a School Psychologist who will serve the Early Childhood Special Education evaluation team.
Job Summary:
To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning. Apply expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior, to help scholars succeed academically, behaviorally, socially, and emotionally; provide psychological assessment and evaluation services; assist in educational programming for individual scholars; offer a broad range of consultation services to scholars, staff and guardians/caregivers; assist administrators and staff in creating a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment that strengthens connections between home, school, and community; participate in the process of evaluation and improvement the total program and operation of the school district; make appropriate and equitable use of instructional resources and technologies; and implement the goals and objectives of the district and the school and/or program for which employed; provide in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous learning when applicable and work collaboratively with others. Willing to participate in district, building, and department leadership activities. Ability to be flexible with work hours to meet the needs of guardians/caregivers at the discretion of the supervisor. Psychologist Minimum qualifications include:
Master's Degree required. MN teaching license as a School Psychologist If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 2 license.• Additional information can be found at MN Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB).
