This full-time special education teaching opportunity offers a rewarding role supporting students in a school setting from January through the end of the academic year. The position is based in Burnsville, MN, and involves a 37.5-hour workweek, providing a balanced schedule for educators dedicated to making a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a Special Education Resource Teacher, delivering specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to promote academic and social growth Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators regarding student development
Qualifications:
Valid Minnesota state teaching license in Special Education Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a Special Education teaching role Strong commitment to student success and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet varied learning requirements
