Job Description

This contract opportunity provides the chance to utilize your expertise as a licensed Special Education Teacher (ASD) and contribute to meaningful progress for students with autism spectrum disorder.
What You'll Do:
Provide specialized instruction to students with ASD, implementing individualized education plans (IEPs). Engage in intensive programming designed to meet unique student needs. Collaborate with a team of educators, therapists, and families to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Collect and interpret data to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with all special education regulations. Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings.
What We're Looking For:
Valid ASD licensure required. Experience as a Special Education Teacher within a school setting, preferably working with students on the autism spectrum. Knowledge of current best practices in special education and behavior intervention strategies. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues. Strong organizational skills and a proactive, adaptable approach. Passion for making a positive impact in the lives of students with special needs.
