Lead Teacher

Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Teacher to inspire and guide young learners in a dynamic educational environment. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a nurturing classroom atmosphere that promotes childhood development, literacy, math, and social-emotional skills. Your expertise will help create engaging lesson plans, manage classroom activities, and support students with diverse learning needs. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including Montessori or preschool methodologies. Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, behavioral health strategies, and sensory activities tailored to individual student needs. Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management techniques and classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment. Mentor and support assistant teachers or teaching aides, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on child-centered education. Skills Experience in classroom management within early childhood or special education settings is preferred but not necessary. Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and external specialists. Experience in tutoring or mentoring young learners to foster academic growth and social-emotional well-being.

Pay:

$14.50 - $16.50 per hour
